C.H.E.E.R.S. stand for Childhood Early Education Reinforcement School. It is an education service learning program established in 1997 in recognition of the need for an integrated public preschool program in Baranggay Loyola Heights in Quezon City. It is also a teaching-training program for the Child and Development Education fourth year students of Miriam College Foundation. Through C.H.E.E.R.S., students and college professors of Miriam college alike get to share their knowledge in reading and writing to the underprivileged children of the Baranggay Loyola Heights area. The program also boasts of its elite reading academic program known as the 4-Prongs Approach. A reading strategy known for its high interactivity as well as its high touch possibility with values education at its helm. It is a reading program in touch with the Children's world; culture and interest- a reading program only used in excellent public and private institutions in the country.
